Community Food Share

Community Food Share was created as a non-profit organization in 1981, receiving a seed grant from what is now Mile High United Way, and became an affiliate of America’s Second Harvest (now called Feeding America). Today, CFS, along with 43 partner agencies across Boulder and Broomfield Counties, serves over 27,000 of our neighbors each and every day. Over the course of a full year, the CFS hunger relief network distributes more than 12 million pounds of food!

Boulder Food Rescue

As a just-in-time food rescue, BFR takes fresh produce that would otherwise be wasted and distribute it, by bike, to communities and partners that live with food insecurity that same day.

UpRoot Colorado

UpRoot harvests surplus food from Colorado farms, orchards, and “backyard” fruit trees and redistribute this life-sustaining resource to Colorado residents currently facing food and/or nutrition insecurity. These efforts also support the resilience of local Colorado farmers. Their Volunteer Gleaning Corps has harvested more than 2.3 million servings of nutrient-dense surplus produce, diverting these locally grown protective foods into area hunger-relief agencies, like the Pantry.

We Don’t Waste

We Don’t Waste works to reduce hunger and food waste in the Denver area by recovering quality, unused food from the food industry and delivering it to nonprofit partners, such as food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, schools and daycare programs, and more. Harvest of Hope Pantry is one of these recipients and we are grateful for the support of We Don’t Waste!

Conscious Alliance

Conscious Alliance partners with bands, artists, and fans to host food drives at concerts and music festivals across the country. In addition, they engage with 70 leading food brands to receive and distribute large-scale food donations, keeping amazing products out of landfills.

Colorado Pet Pantry

Colorado Pet Pantry has become the largest direct-to-client organization of its kind in the US, distributing pet food at over 100 monthly pet food banks in 33 Colorado counties and assisting over 100 animal rescues with food and supplies throughout Colorado.

Earth’s Table

Earth’s Table is an all-volunteer non-profit community of concerned citizens working to eliminate hunger in our community. They maintain multiple garden sites and donate 100% of fresh produce to local food banks for distribution to people in need.

Audrey Jane’s Pizza Garage

Locally owned and operated, Audrey Jane’s Pizza Garage is a Boulder favorite! As a long time pantry partner, Audrey Jane’s consistent food donations are some of our most popular items for those who rely on us for daily grab-and-go food. All of their recipes are made in-house using organic greens and veggies. Their commitment to supporting the pantry with weekly donations demonstrates how much they care about feeding the Boulder community. Thank you Audrey Jane’s!

Special thanks to these businesses for participation in our Retail Rescue program.
